Parents and carers may wish to be aware of the following information event taking place in Downpatrick later this month.
The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust is hosting a free ADHD awareness talk for parents and carers. The session will be delivered by Consultant Paediatrician Dr Matthew McConkey, who carries out ADHD assessments within the Trust.
The talk will provide information on:
- The symptoms of ADHD
- The assessment process
- Strategies that can support children
- Support services that may be available
