On Saturday 17th May, a bucket collection has been arranged at Fresh Food Centre in Castlewellan, from 10am - 4pm. The Friends Of The Fun are asking for volunteers to help with the collection. They are asking for families from the school to show support and come for 1 hour. It is planned to have 2 people per hour and children are more than welcome to come and help! You can contact Friends Of The Fin via their Facebook page to inform them of which hour you are available and they will put you in the schedule.
The money collected will be used to add Perspex windows to complete our new outdoor play station located at the back of the school (which was funded through last year’s PTA fundraising). This will allow the station to be usable throughout the entire year and will provide a fantastic resource for our pupils.
Your efforts and enthusiasm in the past few years have already resulted in new whiteboards, iPads, sporting equipment, books, play equipment and many other resources and experiences for our children. This collection will provide a lasting and innovative resource that will benefit learning in Aughlisnafin.
Slots are: 10am - 11am 11am - 12pm 12pm - 1pm 1pm - 2pm 2pm - 3pm 3pm - 4pm
