We had a lot of fun learning through our senses during our class Circletimes today.
Our first activity was discovering how the colours Blue and Yellow can feel, taste, smell, look and sound. We used a range of items such as feathers, different textures, playdough, bananas, blueberries to explore colour learning and improve our focus, communication and awareness skills.
We also enjoyed a winter themed ‘sensology’ workout. We used music to replicate winter sounds such as wind, storms, crunching snow and ice and created sensory stimulation with cold and crunchy objects along with a fan for wind. As you can see from the smiles, we had a wonderful time!
